I’m in the habit of subscribing to a variety of industry related newsletters and blogs in an effort to keep myself apprised of what’s going on – if you’re reading this, you might know what I’m talking about, so I’ll try not to disappoint. As my grandfather would often say, “there’s a doings transpiring”. Well, actually, he probably never said that. However, there is always something going on somewhere, be it agency related or otherwise, and it is my sacred duty to keep my ear to the ground and an eye on the competition.
At jungle 8, we have always been a fan of the arts. Calling the LA Brewery Arts Complex our home lends itself to constant interaction and exposure to the art world and its vibrant inhabitants. jungle  makes a conscious effort to support the art world, in the interest of never forgetting our creative roots – and plus, we just love art, artists, innovation, creativity, courage, daring do, the list goes on.
We recently stumbled upon another branding agency by the name of ‘modern 8’ (kinda creepy, huh?). Ever vigilant in keeping my fingers on the industry’s pulse, I went ahead and subscribed to their newsletter (not too shabby by the way, and we have the utmost respect for their work!) A recent post announces the opening of the modern 8 art gallery. Apparently, it’s a nifty in-house deal, which showcases……
What a great idea! We in the jungle may not have the floor space to accommodate such a luxury, however, we need not go any further than our next-door neighbors. Pretty much every space within our humble little complex is a gallery unto itself, complete with real live artists, doing what they do best, while in their natural habitat.
