South Pasadena to Host Clean-Air Car Show and Film Festival

On Sunday July 22nd, Rep. Schiff will speak about his legislative efforts aimed at protecting our environment at South Pasadena’s Clean-Air Car Show and Film Festival. The event is free and open to the public. There will be a wide array of next-generation technology vehicles on display, including solar-hybrid, plug-in hybrid, hybrid-electric, CNG, hydrogen, and fuel cell vehicles. The historic Rialto Theatre will be showing free screenings of environmentally conscious films throughout the day. Informational exhibits and mini-seminars on climate change, the health effects of pollution, and alternative fuel development will also be available to enjoy.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on July 22nd at the intersection of El Centro St. and Fair Oaks Ave. Free shuttle service from the Metro Gold Line Mission Station will be provided, and free parking is available in the Mission Oaks Parking Lot off Mission St. For more information, please call (626) 304-2727

    Check to see if there will be a City CAT (Compressed Air Technology) car at the show. India will have 6000 next year.
