The Brand Gap

I was so thrilled when I stumbled upon this slide show, the summation of Marty Neumeier’s book of the same title, The Brand Gap: How to Bridge the Distance Between Business Strategy and Design. I loved this book! I am someone who has studied and read many of the academic books on “the art of branding” and loved this book for presenting a unified theory of branding was simplistic, intuitive and straightforward. Neumeier combines the creative and overall brand strategy and walks you through an intuitive process of producing a “charismatic brand” that authentically connects with your customers. That’s the goal, so what else do you need? (an over simplification, but gets to the heart of it.) For your viewing pleasure, enjoy!
